Shelford station serves the village of Great Shelford and surrounding communities just south of Cambridge. Located on the West Anglia Main Line, it provides regular connections to Cambridge, London Liverpool Street, and Stansted Airport. The station is within walking distance of the village centre and is well used by commuters as well as visitors accessing local amenities and countryside routes.

Step-free access is available to both platforms via Station Road and the level crossing.

Two platforms connected by a level crossing (no lifts or footbridge). Platforms are relatively narrow in places.

Ticket office open Monday to Friday: 06:00 - 10:30. Ticket machines available.

Sheltered waiting areas and seating available on platforms.

No toilets available.

Cycle racks are available at the station.

There is no dedicated car park at the station.
